Alex & Stephen Hendrick on Courageous

Courageous is an independent Christian drama film produced by Sherwood Pictures and was released in the US on September 30, 2011. This movie is birthed through prayer, the fourth film by Sherwood Pictures who are the creators of Flywheel, Facing the Giants, and Fireproof.

The film was directed by Pastor Alex Kendrick, who co-wrote its screenplay with his brother Pastor Stephen Kendrick. Kendrick also stars in the film, along with Ken Bevel, Kevin Downes, and former running-back Tony Stallings. About half of the cast and crew were volunteers from Sherwood Baptist Church, while the rest of the cast were brought on through invitation-only auditions.

The film’s opening weekend grossed $2 million in pre-sales alone and grossed $9.1 million total for the weekend. The film got a rare A+ CinemaScore rating from filmgoers.

The Courageous movie will be screened exclusively at Cathay Cinemas only. Here are the seating capacities of each of their theatre. In the event that you need to cater for more than the maximum capacity at a particular hall, arrangement can be made for hall looping so that the same screening time can be held in two or more halls, depending on the number of guests you have.

Qst: Do children need tickets to enter the cinema?
Ans: Tickets need to be purchased for children above 5 years of age. A child below this age can enter for free but will not be entitled to have a seat to himself/ herself

Qst: Which date can I choose?
Ans: We recommend choosing dates on and after 5 – 18 Jan 2012 but if you have to choose a date after this period, special arrangements can be made.

Qst: Which showtime can I choose?
Ans: Some suggested showtime, subject to the screening schedule of different cineplexes:

10am, 12:30pm, 4:30pm, 7:10pm  & 9:50pm

Qst: What is the running time of the movie?
